The process of ionization consists to expose, at controlled speed, products to be treated with the
beta radiations emitted by an e-beam.
The emitted electrons have one energy level: 9.8 Mev + 0.2.
An automatic system of conveyor conveys the products in the cell of irradiation,
then the products are passing under the electron beam according to a suitable speed (depending of the
dose level and nature of the product).
The treatment is generally carried out in two passages under the beam: a passage cardboard box at the
place, and a passage upside down (double-side treatment).
The absorptive dose by the product depends essentially from the following parameters :
* power and the energy of the electron beam,
* throughput speed under the beam,
* the composition and density of materials
